This week's bulletin is online here. One of the most consistent themes of the Old Testament is God's promise to bless the children of Abraham. And yet, oddly enough, Jesus condemns the nation's leaders as He pronounces a devastating judgment against them. Does this condemnation signal that God has abandoned Israel and broken His promise? Ryan will explain why the answer to this question is a resounding "no" this Sunday in the second part of a two-part message entitled "God's Grace in Judgment."
In Sunday school we will continue to discuss chapter six of James Sire's The Universe Next Door.
Please remember that we will celebrate the Lord's Table together at the conclusion of our service. Please take a moment before church to reflect on your life in Christ and repent of any known sin before coming to worship on Sunday so that you might be able to take the Table in a worthy manner (cf. 1 Cor. 11:27-32).
Also please remember that instead of our normal evening study we will be meeting at Fellowship Baptist in Joplin for a baptism service at 6:00 PM. You can find directions to Fellowship here.
