The Question on Everyone's Mind (Part 4)

There is a natural curiosity in all of us to know what will happen in the future. We want to know, "What will be the end of all of this? Where is this going? What will become of all my energy and labor after I'm gone?" After Jesus predicts the destruction of the Temple at the beginning of Matthew 24, His disciples thoughts are immediately transported to the future - all the way to the very end of time - and they come to Him asking the question that's on everyone's mind, "When is this going to happen, and how will we know when it gets here?" In the ensuing discussion Jesus explains in vivid detail the events that will precede His Messianic kingdom. Of course, to many this can be a very confusing study to engage in.
