“Genesis” means something like “origin,” and in this sense it is a very appropriate title for the first book of the Scripture. Genesis is indeed a book describing an origin, but the origin of what? It may not be what you think. In the following lesson, Ryan explores how the historical setting of Genesis alters the reader’s understanding of the core message behind this incredibly important book of Scripture.
