There can be an attitude that pervades the church which almost sees the people of Israel as a footnote - as nothing more than an opening act before the main attraction, which is us, the church. Where is the error in that kind of thinking, and how should Christians think of that relationship instead? Believe it or not, Paul addresses part of the answer to that question in his greetings to the Romans in Romans 1:1-7.
