Christmas is a favorite time of year for every Christian, because during the Christmas season we get to remember that moment when God supernaturally intervened to save man by becoming a man Himself. Men and women had been hoping in the birth of Christ since literally the beginning of time. What did they expect the Messiah to come and do, and how does it change the way we, as Christians, look at Christmas?
God promised King David that He would establish the throne of one of his offspring forever, and from that time on the people of Israel looked the coming of this promised son of David. What kind of ministry does the Bible say this coming son of David would perform? Ryan answers that question in this sermon from 2 Samuel 7:8-16.
