The Son of Man
Christmas is a favorite time of year for every Christian, because during the Christmas season we get to remember that moment when God supernaturally intervened to save man by becoming a man Himself. Men and women had been hoping in the birth of Christ since literally the beginning of time. What did they expect the Messiah to come and do, and how does it change the way we, as Christians, look at Christmas? In Daniel 7:13-14, the Scripture speaks of “one like a son of man” coming to the earth to receive an eternal and global dominion. Of all of the titles that Jesus used to refer to Himself it was this title, “Son of Man,” that was His favorite. What is the significance of this title, and what does it tell us about Christmas? Ryan answers that question in this sermon from Daniel 7:13-14.
