This Week @ Cornerstone: May 31, 2021
Cornerstone Family,
Getting this announcement out sort of late, but I wanted to send you a couple of reminders about what’s going on at Cornerstone this week.
Sanctification Series. We’re going to be showing a set of videos tonight that are aimed at helping couples and families deal with underlying sin issues in their relationships. While the target audience is couples, the speaker’s approach to sin and its effects on relationships is helpful for just about anyone. If you’d like to attend, the series starts at 6:30 PM tonight in the fellowship hall and will continue through the months of June and July. Childcare will be available for this event.
Doulos. I mentioned during our congregational meeting that Doulos will be moving to every other Sunday during the months of June and July and will then meet quarterly and “as needed” after that. That said, the first of our summer Doulos sessions will take place this Sunday after church (please remember: there is NO congregational fellowship this week). If you plan on attending, please let me know by tomorrow afternoon, as the number of attendees will determine if we host it at my house or in the fellowship hall. Even if you’ve been a part of Doulos before, a short note letting me know you plan on continuing to be involve would be really helpful. I plan on sending an agenda out to everyone who has responded this Friday.
Congregational Meeting Audio. If you missed our congregational meeting and would like an update on what we plan on doing this year, just let me know and I can send you a recording of the meeting.
That should cover it. Hope to see you tonight, and, if not, see you Sunday!
In Christ,
