Christians are to be known by their willingness to defer their own desires for the good of others. This is because they worship a humble god - a god who eagerly and willingly puts the good of others above Himself. This is a truth that is revealed in John 5:19-47, and this Sunday Ryan will deliver the first of two messages reflecting on this subject, entitled, "The Centrality of Self-Denial."
