This week's bulletin is online here. In the Upper Room Discourse, Christ tells His disciples that He's not only going to leave them in the world, but He wants them to be His witnesses to it. It's not only a daunting challenge, given what Jesus says about how the world is going to receive them, but it's a confusing one, as well. How does one engage the world both with faithfulness - stability - and righteousness? Jesus proceeds to model the answer to that question in the immediate aftermath of that Discourse when He's arrested in the Garden of Gethsemane. Ryan will explain this Sunday in part one of a series of messages from John 18:1-27 entitled, "Light Personified."
