We are currently exploring a merger with Open Door Baptist Church, and as we assess whether such a move would be wise, one major question that we should probably be asking ourselves is, "What should a church be? What will it look like if it's functioning rightly?" That's a question that Ryan will be exploring over the next several weeks in a series entitled, "What to Look for in a Church," and he begins this Sunday with a message from 1 Peter 2:4-12 entitled, "Holiness."

In Sunday school, we will begin a series on church polity with a lesson entitled, "The Function of the Church."
