This Sunday @ Cornerstone: February 5, 2023

This week's bulletin is online here. There appears to be a growing de-emphasis on parents in our society. Increasingly, parents choose to out-source the development of their children to other types of authority, in large part because the thinking is that parents simply don’t have what it takes (or, perhaps, the interest) to train their children. This is a critical mistake. The Scripture clearly indicates that the parent-child relationship is one of the most fundamentally important relationships in all of human society – and it’s absolutely necessary for the advancement of God’s kingdom. Why is this the case, and what should this relationship therefore look like? Ryan will explain this Sunday in part two of a message from Colossians 3:20-21 entitled, “The Spiritually Mature Family.”

In Sunday school, we will continue our survey of church history with a lesson entitled "Wesley and Whitefield."
