This Sunday @ Cornerstone: July 23, 2023

This week's bulletin is online here. In Scripture, a “sign” is not simply a miracle. It is often a miracle designed to communicate a specific truth. In John 2:13-22, Jesus enters the Temple and cleanses it. He turns over the tables of the money-changers. He drives the animals out with a whip of cords. And when the Jews ask Him, “What sign do you show us for doing these things?” Jesus points to His resurrection from the dead. Why? What does the resurrection communicate about that particular event – and, importantly, what can it do to strengthen our faith? Ryan will explain this Sunday in part two of a three-part message entitled, “The Cleansing of the Temple.”
