This Week @ Cornerstone: May 17, 2021
Cornerstone Family,
We have a few updates for what’s going on this week at Cornerstone. Please see below.
Doulos – Cancelled. We were still planning on having Doulos this past Sunday (although it had been pushed back to 8:00 PM). However, I’ve since found out that I had an extra ballgame on the schedule I didn’t know about at 7:45 PM (and Emily is covering Metanoia from 6:30-8:00 PM). So it’s looking like I won’t be able to run the Doulos meeting this week. I’m planning on some changes for Doulos this year, which I hope to be sending out soon. Keep your eyes open for an email within the next week or so, if Doulos is something you’re interested in.
Metanoia. The last Metanoia of the year meets this Wednesday. Thank you to all of those who participated and helped! We’re currently looking forward to another round of Metanoia (this time focused on the New Testament) next year!
Pentecost. Just a reminder that we’re celebrating Pentecost this week. There isn’t too much you need to do to prepare for the service, but please remember that we’ll be having a corporate fellowship and congregational meeting (during the corporate fellowship) afterwards. Once again, please let us know if you have any feedback for us on the proposed document changes. Clint and I planning on making the changes official during our elders meeting this Thursday. The MealTrain link for the corporate fellowship is here: https://mealtrain.com/4qgqv6
June 6 Fellowship – Cancelled. Normally we would have our monthly corporate fellowship on June 6, but with the Pentecost fellowship coming so close to that one, Clint and I made the decision to cancel. So there will be no corporate fellowship after church on Sunday, June 6.
That should just about cover it. Please let me know if you have any questions!
In Christ,
Ryan Joki
