This Sunday @ Cornerstone: February 12, 2023

This week's bulletin is online here. There appears to be a growing de-emphasis on parents in our society. Increasingly, parents choose to out-source the development of their children to other types of authority, in large part because the thinking is that parents simply don’t have what it takes (or, perhaps, the interest) to train their children. This is a critical mistake. The Scripture clearly indicates that the parent-child relationship is one of the most fundamentally important relationships in all of human society – and it’s absolutely necessary for the advancement of God’s kingdom. Why is this the case, and what should this relationship therefore look like? Ryan will explain this Sunday in part three of a message from Colossians 3:20-21 entitled, “The Spiritually Mature Family.”

Please remember that, due to First Presbyterian's use of the fellowship hall, we will not begin services until 4:00 PM this week. Also, there will be no Sunday school or home fellowship groups.
