Men's Retreat ('21-'22)
Cornerstone Family,
We are going to have our first of what we hope to be an annual men’s retreat this Labor Day week-end from Sunday evening to Monday afternoon at Shoal Kirk Camp in Neosho. The suggested donation for this retreat is only $15/attendee, and our theme for this year is going to be “Iron Sharpening Iron.” We’re going to emphasize the importance of developing meaningful friendships with other men in the church, which we hope is going to be a significant focus in our ministry to the men this year. (FYI – This is hopefully just the first of several men’s events this year, although most will be more of an evening thing – or part of a Saturday – instead of an overnight event.) Of course, we’d invite all the men in the church to attend – and you’re welcome to bring your boys along, too!
If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, you can find more information in the attached flyer. Mike Brown has been kind enough to help organize this retreat, so if you have any additional questions, please don’t hesitate to ask Mike. A sign-up sheet will be available at the back of the fellowship hall for the next several weeks. Please note that the deadline for registration is Sunday, August 29. We hope to see you there!
In Christ,
