This Sunday @ Cornerstone: November 7, 2021

This week's bulletin is online here. The church is a great idea...in theory. Spiritual brothers and sisters selflessly supporting one another in their pursuit of Christ - what could be better? What drives a cooperative spirit in the body, and how...  Read More

This Sunday @ Cornerstone: October 31, 2021
by Ryan Joki on October 30th, 2021
This week's bulletin is online here. The weekly "offering" is one of those items that seems relatively dry and uninteresting - that is, until something goes wrong. We've all heard of examples of how churches have collected the offering in a way comes off as manipulative, unethical, or overall just sort of "slimy." What does the Bible have to say about this subject? Money is necessary for the churc...  Read More

This week's bulletin is online here. It is universally agreed among Christians that the resurrection of the dead is an essential doctrine to the Christian faith, but is it really practical? Does it have any impact on the way we live today, or is it merely something that will happen to us...one day? Ryan will continue to explain the answer to this question in a message from 1 Corinthians 15:35-58 e...  Read More

This Sunday @ Cornerstone: September 12, 2021
by Ryan Joki on September 11th, 2021
This week's bulletin is online here. "I'm not really religious. I'm spiritual." It's a statement that's been uttered more than once. There's a growing perception that a personal and private expression of worship is somehow equivalent (or even superior to) a corporate and public one - that such expressions of worship are more "authentic" and therefore "truer" than the kind of worship we find in org...  Read More
