After running away and fleeing hundreds of miles from his master, Onesimus would have thought he found freedom, but after encountering the apostle Paul, he discovered a new kind of freedom, one that would eventually cause him to decide to go back to his master and re-enter his life of earthly servitude. What does his return - and his master's response to his return - teach us about the quality of Christian love?
